I had some experience with photogravure. I was wondering how the photo polymer process differed in terms of aesthetics. Specifically, can photographic detail be achieved, like in the gravure process? In photogravure, we etched directly into a copper plate, which allowed the artist to rework the copper if necessary. Does photopolymer method allow reworking of the plate?
